Customer Review: Great customer service from the team. We ordered Katsu noodles with sauce on the side as one of our parties is allergic to mayonnaise. Come out with sauces on top, and give us another Katsu as a complementary. Conveniently located next to our hotel. Definitely our first choice of meal if we came back to windy Welly. – Bayu

Tatsushi Japanese Restaurant opened its doors in 2012 at a cramped premise in Victoria Street, Wellington, New Zealand. It didn’t take long for Tatsushi to build an outstanding reputation and decided to relocate due to popular demand to 19 Edward Street in 2018.
The owner of Tatsushi Mikuni worked as a chef for many years in Japan, offering true Japanese cuisine.
From using seasonal ingredients to freshly made soup made up of kelp and bonito flakes, the restaurant has maintained the special flavour each key ingredient has for the diners to enjoy.
Customer Review: I love this place, from ambiance to quality of food. I wish I knew about their lunch offers earlier. Their dinner can get pricey if you go often, but their lunch menu is really reasonable. The food is fresh and flavour is on par. Along with the friendly service it feels like a really Japanese restaurant in Japan. I had their assorted sashimi bowl. It was fresh with a good variety of sashimi. – Lenita

Customer Review: Lovely place with decent price and quality! Lunch is great but have to come early at noon, otherwise there would be not much food left. Service is good as well, people are nice and if you take your own bowl they have $1 discount and will fill your bowl really full. Lovely place overall. We were craving Ramen and stumbled upon this little gem and decided to walk over and give it a try. One word “Yum!”. Did not disappoint. Not only did our food look like art but the flavors were great. Would I suggest this place for a budget backpacker wanting to splurge a little without breaking the bank. Yes! – Abbey
